1. Why did you select the inspiration pieces?
- I selected these people because of the color and details in the portraits.
2. Why did you select the media to create your self-portrait?
- I selected pencil (colored) its the media that I prefer to work with.
3. What challenges did you face in creating your self-portrait and how did you overcome them?
- I did have a challenge when I was trying to draw my chin because in the photo I took its slightly tilted which was a bit difficult to recreate but I did it.
4. How does this piece represent you?
- This piece represents me because all of my favorite features that I like about myself really pop in this photo I like how the color of my lipstick goes great with my scarf, my hair has just the right amount of shine and my light brown eyes stand out.
5. What elements and principles of art did you apply in this work?
- The elements and principles of art I applied were lines, color and patterns.
6. Did you enjoy working on this This project?
- I did enjoy this project it was fun looking at myself in a different way.
7. What do you think of your final artwork?
- I think my final artwork turned out great it resembles me in this photo and I think all the colors came together well.
