Art Curation Exhibition Reflection Journal

I really took my time with picking a theme I really liked and that other people would enjoy. I had many themes in mind women in art, Harlem Renaissance but I ended up going with child prodigies. After I chose the theme I picked my exhibition title I narrowed it down to two titles and I ended up going with Beyond The Coloring Book because it fit my theme perfectly. I work with children so that is another reason why I chose this theme I am always amazed when I see children doing things that people think they can not do. I searched and searched for all my pieces in my collection. I wanted them to be different but colorful. After I placed all the images in the slides which are just in order of artists, I then wrote down all the information my interpretation and explanation then I added it to the slideshow. I had so much fun putting this together and I really love my completed exhibition although I may be bias I feel that the viewers will really enjoy it.
